Today we did some text and simple image annimation on Flash.
i found this challenging but also very helpful as i will be using these aspects on my project.
we also continued with our layout designs.
we got back our layout annotation work which i need to improve on for next weeks lesson.

Wednesday 19th:
Today we make the final changes and printed out our draft of the gantt chart. i included all the relevent dates that ms parkes gave us and put in the final deadline.
On tuesday we did some collsion detection work ok Flash, as we may use this in our final project. we also continued with making our layouts on flash.

WORD
Ms Parkes lesson:
Today we continued with making our layout designs and storyboard designs.
i had already created two story ideas and two layouts as well as a front page layout with justification.
During the lesson we needed to add more detail to our justifications and also create a storyboard which includes game and multiple ending ideas. i have done one at the moment.
Ms Doyle's lesson:
Today we continued with using Microsoft Project. Our main goal was to include 'milestones'
This was contected to what we did earlier in the lesson with 'resources' 'time' and 'tasks'
Tasks: put down all the tasks that are needed to create the final product including user guide and screen-prints
Resources: we needed to think about all the items that we would need in order to compleate our project. this might include computers, video camera's or software
Time: on our gantt chart we had to think about time limit and how much time we should spend on certain sections and how we will complete the task within out given deadline.

Microsoft Project
Ms Parkes lesson:
today we continued working on out layout designs and character design.
i have found an image of a dog from the internet to modify and change to be my own character. i will need to include this in my bibliography.
over the half term we are to finish two layouts, two storyboards and justify each of them. currently i have done the layout designs but not the storyboards.
i was to finish the storyboard at home but the school network is down and so i will have to bring in my USB tomorrow and put everything onto it.

FLASH :D
During Ms Parkes lesson, we used Flash for the first time.
It was intersting to use the program as i have not ever used it before. we did a practice task which meant adding images, resizing images and used scripting to make images move.
I came across problems which were solved with the help of Ms.
The problem was from the scripting part which seemed to cause me issues. Once it was resolved i found using Flash much easier.

self assesment
Ms Parkes lesson:
we looked at icons in the pervious lesson and today looked at frames and then we designed some on photoshop either to use on our real project or just experiement with.
Self assesment:
My general knowledge of Ict is good.
I have not ever used photoshop to make anything large but only small logos and colour changes. In today's lesson when we were designing our page, I had difficulty with putting a icon on a shape. I experimented with it and then had to ask help to fix it.
This helped me improve my photoshop skills.
I have not used flash at all, and have only used dreamweaver a little bit, so my knowledge of it is resiticting. I have not used Microsoft Project either.
The problems i face with this task will mainly be related to the program that i am using. I can help myself my using the program out of class and setting myself targets to achieve after each lesson about the program that i am finding difficulty with.
